The Dream: A bespoke multi-use Garden room with storage.
In today's busy pace of life, having a versatile space that blends functionality, aesthetics and sustainability is an aspiration for many homeowners.
When Kirsty contacted us, she had a clear vision of what the garden room would look like. We had the pleasure of bringing this vision to life. The garden den would be from our Torridon range and adjusted to suit Kirsty's requirements.
The Challenge: Thoughtful design meets sustainability.
This project was all about creating a space that could cater to diverse needs without compromising on design. The garden room is divided into three distinct areas.
Living space : a space to relax that could also be used as an office or work out area.
Seperate toilet : A practical addition that ensures convenience without trips to the main house.
Garden store : A functional storage area for bikes, tools and other essentials. Keeping the main house clutter free.
One standout feature of this garden room is the living roof. The green roof not only enhances the building's eco-credentials and also provides natural insulation.
The red door and matching red panel around the roof were chosen to tie the garden rooms aesthetic to the existing house. These striking details create a cohesive look, ensuring the new structure feels like an extension of the home rather than an afterthought.
We used Scotlarch cladding, locally sourced in Scotland this sustainable and durable cladding is ideal for projects striving for low carbon footprint. The board on board profile gives a traditional aesthetic.
The Result: A garden room that reflects you.
We believe every project should reflect the unique needs and personality of the homeowner. Whether you are looking for a garden office, cosy guesthouse or a practical storage solution, we can work with you every step of the way to bring your plans to reality.
This multi-use garden room shows that you don't have to choose between form, function and sustainability. With the right design and craftsmanship you can have it all.
